You will generate expression constructs using Ligation Independent Cloning and perform small-scale expression/purification tests in bacterial, insect and mammalian cells. You must be highly organised and have a strong attention to detail. You will also help to maintain the infrastructure of the molecular biology laboratory, instrumentation, supplies and consumables.
You will be joining a team of 12 enthusiastic scientists, who work closely together to achieve the objectives of the group. Therefore, it is important to be able to work as part of a team and to collaborate with colleagues on a range of projects.
You will have a qualification in biology or chemistry or equivalent and proven experience in academic or industrial laboratories, in cloning and protein expression (bacteria and/or eukaryotic systems).
If you are interested in this role, and have the skills and experience we are looking for, please apply online.
Only applications received before 12.00 noon on Wednesday 24 October 2018 can be considered.
