Biotechnology Groups
The Biotechnology groups provide a core infrastructure to support the goals of the SGC. Proteins suitable for functional and structural investigations are identified through cloning, expression screening, large-scale production and characterisation. An array of technologies to produce and analyse proteins are made available. The various deliverables of the groups are shown in the figure below and specific techniques performed within each site are described on the PIs’ Biotechnology pages.
