Roxanne Lariviere

Research Associate - Project Manager

SGC Neuro

Roxanne Lariviere completed her PhD degree at McGill University in the Neurology and Neurosurgery department. She has carried out research on neurodegenerative disorders for the past 17 years. Her research interest lies in better understanding the role of GWAS-associated PD genes and characterize the lesser-studied PD genes in genetically-modified induced pluripotent stem cells. With the use of PD phenotypic assays and unbiased multi-omics, the hope is to disentangle the PD GWAS-ome by uncovering new pathways or mechanisms in PD pathology and identify new key targets for therapy.
