SGC stars in 'A new age of drug discovery' documentary
As part of the International Year of Crystallography, the NDM at the University of Oxford has produced a four part documentary explaining how the field of structural biology has developed over the past 100 years, Oxford’s involvement in that development, and where we go from here.
2014 - International Year of Crystallography
2014 is the International Year of Crystallography and to celebrate this event NDM has produced a series of short films.
‘Revolutionary Biology’: Revolutionary Biology shows how the field of structural biology has developed over the past 100 years, Oxford’s involvement in that development, and where we go from here.
Student Podcast on NDM Oxford
Every year, about 60 DPhil students start a life changing experience in the Nuffield Department of Medicine in Oxford.
Sarah Dixon-Clarke, born in the UK, joined the University of Oxford in 2011 after studying Biological Sciences and Biochemistry at the University of St Andrews. Sarah is affiliated with University College and works on structure-function analysis of the extended cyclin-dependent kinase family under the supervision of Dr Alex Bullock.

SGC Takes Part in Cheltenham Science Festival 2014
The SGC took part in the Times Cheltenham Science Festival in June this year. As part of the Nuffield Department of Medicine's partnership with the festival, many SGC scientists presented a variety of structure-based drug design games to try out including: giant Jenga, touchscreens showing molecular structures and ‘create a medicine’ card game.
